Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Tulsa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise care on the nursing unit under the direction of the Nursing leadership. The role includes planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, discharge planning, and post-hospitalization education for patients and families.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, current BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
