Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks an experienced RN for Endoscopy, mainly day shifts with occasional call. Candidates with 2+ years of RN experience may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with a focus on safe nursing care within our patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience, be able to do Med/Surg/Tele and either ICU or PCU.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
• Additional certifications required at start date or intrafacility transfer: ACLS as of start date; NRp as of start date; NIH within 90 days; PALS, CPI within 90 days; PALS for PACU as of start date

Job Overview:

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Previous endoscopy experience preffered, not required.

  • PACU: PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of start date.
