Job summary

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our evening shift nursing team.

As an RN you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, supervise staff, maintain documentation, and coordinate with physicians, families and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Assess residents and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the care team.
• Follow infection prevention and safety requirements.

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM | 8-Hour Shifts

Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour weekdays | +$2.75/hour weekends
