Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, guides patient and family teaching, and supervises other nursing personnel in Telemetry. The nurse communicates with physicians about patient condition changes, diagnostic results, and symptoms. Must respond quickly to changes and be knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations, reporting abuse, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
