Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 24/7 Emergency Department team in Benton, Arkansas. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment alongside physicians and other health professionals.

The role requires an Arkansas RN license, an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and ER experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Arkansas or compact state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• ER experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care and transfers.

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working alongside skilled physicians and healthcare professionals. Our Emergency Department is open 24/7 and is part of a Level III Trauma Center and designated Stroke Center, offering advanced emergency care close to home. We are looking for compassionate, adaptable nurses who thrive under pressure, demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care when it matters most

How you'll contribute

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
