Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR is seeking an ER Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This full-time mid-shift role runs 3x12s, 1:00p-1:00a, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, in a Level III Trauma Center with Stroke Center designation.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, coordinating with physicians and the care team while documenting care and educating patients and families. Reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• Licenses: Must have a current state or compact RN license.
• Education: Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Previous ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides education based on age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Join the dedicated Emergency Room team at Saline Memorial Hospital, where you'll make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional care to patients during some of their most critical moments. What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
