Tenet Healthcare's Delray Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This per diem night shift role focuses on delivering high-quality, safe nursing care to ED patients while coordinating care with families and hospital teams.

The RN will ensure timely assessments, adherence to safety standards, and effective discharge planning, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes within a Level I trauma network.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• PALS within one year of employment.
• CPI within six months of employment.
• TNCC within 18 months of employment.
• ENPC encouraged.
• CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe nursing care in the ED.
• Coordinate care with patient and family.
• Discharge patient with optimum level of care.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Nights

Job Type: Per Diem

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to the Emergency/Trauma patient. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, IQ, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient from the ED with an optimum level of care provided.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.

Experience

• Minimum: One (1) year experience in a Med/Surg area or
• Preferred: Two (2) years’ experience in an Emergency Room setting

Required Certification/License/Registration

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification
• PALS are required within one year of employment.
• Hazmat preferred, but not required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required within six months of employment.
• TNCC is required within 18 months of employment in the position.
• ENPC is strongly encouraged.
• CEN preferred, but not required
