Job summary

Community Health Network, serving Indianapolis and its neighbors, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. The RN will circulate, assist anesthesia, administer conscious sedation and learn to scrub in procedures, while maintaining safety and efficiency in the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• RN experience in EP, ED, cardiac, PCU or critical care preferred

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the EP Lab and assist anesthesia.
• Administer conscious sedation and learn to scrub in electrophysiology procedures.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The Registered Nurse manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Registered Nurse demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources. The RN in the EP Lab will circulate, assist anesthesia, administer conscious sedation and learn to scrub in electrophysiology procedures.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• RN experience in EP, ED, cardiac, PCU or critical care preferred
