ECU Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide care in Greenville, NC. This role involves delivering nursing care according to the North Carolina Board of Nursing standards, collaborating with patients and their families to create care plans, and coordinating the health care team while addressing age-specific needs.
The successful candidate must hold a current North Carolina RN license and a Basic Life Support certification. Compensation will be determined based on experience, with a pay range for Staff Nurse II between $34.00 and $46.75 per hour.
Responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing‑Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other standards established by professional groups and regulatory bodies. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity‑specific nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of care/practice. Responsible for the provision and coordination of nursing care, including the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes, and development of a plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members. Identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the identified interventions, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age‑specific and unique needs of the patient/family. Promotes and evaluates the effective functioning of the health care team. Collaborates with health care team members to meet the identified needs of the patient/family throughout the episode of care. Delegates tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act.
Pay Range for Staff Nurse II: $34.00 - $46.75
Compensation is determined by experience and Career Ladder Placement.
