Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Saville Screening and Prevention Center for intra-procedure work. This full-time role follows a 4x10 hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements.

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse experience to join our fast-paced Saville Screening and Prevention Center. This is a full-time position; the schedule is 4x10 hour shifts Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends or call requirement; scrubs are provided. Primary responsibility is Intra-Procedure work.

The Saville Screening and Prevention Center is a state-of-the-art Center with 4 Procedural Suites and 12 Pre-op/PACU Beds.Screenings completed at the center include EGDs, Colonoscopies, Bronchoscopies, Thoracentesis, Robotic EBUS, and Cytoscopies.

GE/GI Nurse Qualifications:

• Minimum: One year of direct Operating Room (OR), Endoscopy or PACU experience as a Registered Nurse. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

GE/GI Nurse preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years' experience in procedural area
