Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Saville Screening and Prevention Center. The role is full-time with a 4x10 hour shift pattern from Monday to Friday, and no night, weekend, or on-call duties.

Scrubs are provided and the focus is intra-procedure work in a state-of-the-art center with multiple procedural suites and beds. The position requires an RN license in Virginia, a BSN (ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years), and a current BLS

Qualifications

• Minimum: One year of direct OR/Endoscopy or PACU experience as an RN.
• RN license to practice in Virginia.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is intra-procedure work.
• Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday.

GE/GI Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum: One year of direct Operating Room (OR), Endoscopy or PACU experience as a Registered Nurse. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

GE/GI Nurse Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in procedural area
