Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for a 40-hour week. Flexible shifts include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, and some 12-hour options with a 30-minute call response.

You will complete an accredited nursing program, hold an Illinois RN license, and maintain BLS certification. The role focuses on providing and coordinating patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality surgical care.

We are flexible and open to the shifts/hours. Below are the option available with the most important aspect being that the 1.0 FTE (40 hours) requirement is met.

• x5 8-hour shifts 1045-1915
• x4 10-hour shifts 1045-2115
• x3 12-hour shifts 1045-2315 & x1 4-hour shift 1045-1500
• x2 12-hour shifts 1045-2315 & x2 8-hour shifts 1445-2315

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
