A notable healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. Under the general direction and guidelines of Department of Emergency Medicine (ED) standing orders, standards established through the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania, and Grand View Hospital policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse, RN, Emergency Department is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Essential Functions:
Our Emergency Department has 30 beds plus 2 Trauma bays. We see patients range in age from newborn to geriatric. All medical concerns including STEMIs, acute stroke and trauma patients, as well as patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
Education and Experience:Vocational diploma Nursing Diploma, required Minimum of 1 year as an acute care Registered Nurse required Licenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse in PA – Licensed, Upon hire, requiredCertified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Upon hire, preferredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Within 1 year of hire, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
