MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for its Emergency Department, a high-pressure environment with 39 beds. You will deliver compassionate care, assess patient conditions, and coordinate plans with the nursing team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

This role offers full-time day/evening, night shifts, and PRN options, with opportunities to develop expertise across urgent, emergent, and critical cases in a supportive, team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Active MD RN license or active compact state RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Available Opportunities: Full-time:- 11:00am-11:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am and PRN: Shift Varies (4 shifts in 6 weeks)

This position has a hiring range of
