Job summary

Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a licensed RN for its fast-paced Emergency Department. The 65-bed ED provides care across the full spectrum of emergency medicine within a Level II Trauma Center and several designated specialty centers, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

You will join a collaborative team focused on safe, high-quality acute care, mentorship, and ongoing education, including TNCC and cross-training opportunities across pediatric and behavioral health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
• If RN license has been inactive for five years or more and no license in another state in five years, complete a board-approved refresher before reactivating.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state; BLS required.

What We're Looking For

• Education:

  - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

  - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

  - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

• Experience:One year of acute nursing experience required.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

  -Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
