We are currently offering sign-on bonuses for Registered Nurses:
$10,000 for new graduates to 2 years of experience (full-time)
$20,000 for nurses with more than 2 years of experience (full-time)
Eligible candidates must be hired into a full or part-time RN position. Bonuses are prorated for part-time roles; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are eligible after more than 6 months of separation.

Position: Full-Time Night Shift (7 pm - 7 am)
Nurse Residency cohorts start three times a year: February, July, and November. The next cohort begins in NOVEMBER 2025.
Department: Emergency Department - Biddeford/Sanford
The ED provides 24-hour emergency care across two campuses, treating over 40,000 patients annually, from pediatrics to geriatrics. It is a fast-paced environment emphasizing teamwork, with up to 47 beds in Biddeford and 25 in Sanford.
The ED offers:
A self-scheduling model
Dual residency training (ENA and NRC)
Every third weekend off
Shift differentials
Training in triage, preceptorship, and charge roles after one year
Role autonomy with nurse order sets and close provider collaboration
Certification training (TNCC and ENPC) after one year
Potential for clinical ladder advancement
We have partnered with the ENA to offer an emergency nursing-specific residency program!
Role Summary: The Registered Nurse - New Graduate - Acute Care is focused on developing competency and independence in patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This program supports new nurses transitioning from students to competent practitioners.
