Job summary

Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team.

The RN provides and coordinates nursing care using the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and team members, supervises care delivery, and prepares patients for discharge.

Requirements include Nursing Degree and Maryland RN license; NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as noted; experience preferred.

Qualifications

Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, and as needed, revised the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.

Required Licensures & Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Credential Note
NIHSS is required within 6 months, ACLS is required within 1 year, PALS is required within 18 months

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
