Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks an Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Texas Health Allen. The role features full-time night shifts (7P–7A) with a 36-hour work week and weekend/holiday requirements in a fast-paced, high-volume ED.

The department emphasizes growth, ongoing education, and strong teamwork within a supportive environment. Ideal candidates hold a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree, possess RN licensure, and have 1 year of RN experience; BCLS, CPI, ACLS,

Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree; RN licensure required
  • 1 year RN experience required
  • BCLS prior to independent patient care and quarterly maintenance
  • CPI training annually within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days
  • TNCC preferred upon hire

Work hours:
  • Full Time/Nights; (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week
  • Weekend and holiday requirements

Here's What You Need:
  • Nursing Diploma in nursing required or
  • Associate's degree in nursing required or
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • 1 year of experience as registered nurse required
  • 1+ year(s) of recent experience as an RN in an acute care ED setting strongly preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days and
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days and
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course upon hire preferred
