Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off.

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000.

Department/Unit Summary

Our Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department offers 37 beds, an accredited Cath Lab, a primary stroke center, and advanced triage providers to reduce wait times. We support staff with unit clerks, surgical techs, emergency services tech, and 24-hour supervisor coverage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS within one year
• PALS within 3 years
• Pursuing CEN within 3 years
• 6 months acute care or emergency medicine experience (CST, LPN, Paramedic)
• Trauma Nurse Course preferred
