Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an experienced RN for our Emergency Department. You will perform patient assessments, initiate care plans, document medical necessity, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on a 32-bed unit with self-scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience.

Responsabilités

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

The Emergency Department at Frye Regional Medical Center offers a supportive and stable work environment, caring for a variety of patients across the life span. This 32- Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience required.
