Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Nursing preferred or an Associate Degree in Nursing; program graduate acceptable.
• Active Virginia RN license upon hire; CPR/BLS required upon hire; ACLS within 1½ years.
• Minimum 2 years interventional procedure experience; able to scrub and/or circulate in ≥2 modalities.

Responsible for necessary quality control performance and documentation that supports best practice standards and accreditation initiatives. The Registered Nurse utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making to create a care plan for each patient based on age, physiological, psychosocial and cultural diversity.What you will doDemonstrates ability to assess patient clinical ands psychosocial needs by applying standards of practice as it relates to the specialty or patient population served. ( I.E. surgical, med surg, critical care, ED, specialty unit).Partners with patients and families to develop, implement and evaluate plan of care, treatments and procedures that contribute to the physiological and psychosocial outcomes of the patient. Assesses and incorporates evidence-based standards of practice. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the coordination care.
