Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse in California to provide comprehensive patient care on assigned units within our Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Hospitals network. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment, and collaboration with families, while adhering to regulatory and hospital policies.

Qualified candidates will have 1 year of ED experience, an accredited RN program completion, and a BSN is preferred.

• One year of experience in an acute care emergency department.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CEN encouraged

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
