Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in California is seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse to deliver excellence in patient care on assigned units, collaborating with the care team to meet patient and family needs, and to perform ongoing assessments, treatments and care throughout the continuum, including the management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in an acute care emergency department.
• BSN preferred where indicated.
• Registered Nurse licensure in California required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care and collaborate on comprehensive care on assigned units.
• Perform assessments, treatments and care throughout the continuum, including pain management.
• Manage invasive lines and surgical drains per policy and protocol.

Responsibilities

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in an acute care emergency department
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN Preferred

Required Licensure / Certifications

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CEN encouraged

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
