Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations to lead a multi-disciplinary team in home health care projects on a full-time day shift. The role oversees the clinical manager and intake coordinator, ensures staffing and productivity, and drives care standards across the center.

The position requires nursing leadership, RN licensure in the state, and a track record of improving patient outcomes within hospice or home health settings. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Two years RN experience in home health or hospice.
• Three years leadership/management in healthcare.
• Current RN license for the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and identify needs.
• Oversee clinical manager and intake coordinator activities.
• Maintain appropriate clinician staffing levels.
• Ensure clinician productivity standards are met.
• Oversee weekly patient care conference participation.
• Ensure patient care conference policies are followed.
• Implement care center professional and clinical service programs.
• Promote standards for quality patient care by staff.
• May function as agency administrator.
• Ensure orientation and trainings for staff occur as per standards.

Attractive Pay

• Minimum Salary: $99,000
• Maximum Salary: $110,000

• Oversees and directs the activities of the clinical manager and intake coordinator in the provision and coordination of patient care.
• Implements/maintains appropriate clinician staffing levels.
• Ensures clinician productivity standards are met.
• Oversees the weekly patient care conference and assures participation of all clinical staff.
• Ensures patient care conference policy and protocols are followed.
• Responsible for the implementation of the care centers professional and clinical service and performance improvement programs.
• Promotes and maintains standards for providing quality patient care by all staff of the care center.
• May function as agency administrator.
• Ensures clinical manager, clinician orientation and trainings occur per company standards.
• Collaborates with area vice president of clinical operations in implementation of clinical operations, standards and processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Two years of RN experience in home health or hospice environment.
• Three years of experience in clinical leadership/management in healthcare, home health or hospice.
• Current license to practice as an RN specific to the state you're assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
