PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide and supervise care for patients on dialysis. You will collaborate with the nursing team to plan discharge, educate patients and families, and coordinate care post-hospitalization.
Prior dialysis experience is required. Licensure, BLS, and ACLS (preferred or required after 90 days) are necessary, with NNCC certification welcomed. ACLS is mandatory from day 1 for Charge Nurses and ICU roles.
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
