Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley in the United States is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered dialysis care on our unit. Under the direction of Nursing leadership, you will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care to individuals with kidney failure, including interdisciplinary planning and discharge preparation.

You will supervise dialysis treatments, participate in patient and family teaching, and may serve as Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• RN License in state of practice required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred after 90 days of employment; ACLS from day 1 for Charge Nurses/High Obs/ICU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise dialysis patient care; plan and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Oversee dialysis treatments as ordered by physicians; may function as Charge Nurse.

We are currently hiring for a Dialysis Registered Nurse- and would love to meet with you and discuss why we feel you would be a wonderful addition to our PAMily!

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
