Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center is a 118-bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital and Residential Treatment Center for children and adolescents aged 4-18. Located on approximately 10 acres in Alabama, near Florida and Georgia, the facility also hosts the New Day Academy, a state-supported K-12 school with vocational opportunities. The hospital employs about 195 staff members.
We are currently seeking REGISTERED NURSES for 12-hour shifts (rotating 3-4 days per week), offering a $3,500 sign-on bonus paid out per signed agreement.
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents), including documentation, conducting nursing groups, following program guidelines, medication administration, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, managing admissions and discharges, and using restraint techniques when necessary.
