Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse at Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, NJ. The role involves providing direct care and maintaining a supportive environment for patients.

The position is full time, with hours from 7am - 3pm four days per week, plus rotating weekends. Registered Nurses are essential to our patient care teams. Duties include assessing medical needs, conducting safety checks, and upholding core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership and strong clinical skills.

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. The Registered Nurse provides direct care for our patients under the guidance of our physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe and supportive environment for patients through the implantation of safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds the core values of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.

This is a full time position with a schedule from 7am - 3pm four days per week with rotating weekends. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
