Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct patient care within inpatient and outpatient programs. You will work under physicians and treatment teams, maintain a safe environment, and document care while upholding the center's mission.

This full-time position offers a 7am–3pm schedule four days per week with rotating weekends, plus overtime opportunities and shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum: 1 year psychiatric nursing or 2 years medical/surgical with leadership.
• NLN accreditation and ANA PMHN certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and responds to medical needs under physicians' guidance.
• Conducts safety checks and implements behavioral management techniques.
• Maintains the hospital's core values and mission.

Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. The Registered Nurse provides direct care for our patients under the guidance of our physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe and supportive environment for patients through the implantation of safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds the core values of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.

This is a full time position with a schedule from 7am - 3pm four days per week with rotating weekends. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
