Job summary

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, LLC in Panama City, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for days shifts. This full-time opportunity offers 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a 4-week rotating schedule.

Recent graduates are welcome, with overtime opportunities and coverage of various shifts if interested. The facility provides inpatient treatment for adolescents and adults, with specialty programs and a broad support network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current FL RN License or compact license.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts - 3 days per week to include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complete nursing assessment of all admissions including risk assessments (SAO, elopement, assault, suicide); educational needs, and medication review. Complete all required nursing documents within established time frame.
• Actively participates in treatment team meetings & decisions, collect & include data in care plan updates, assesses patient needs, design and implement programs, and document / evaluate patient responses.
• Document nursing care and treatment progression through timely & accurate chart entries & nursing treatment plan updates. Complete treatment plans as per policy. Appropriately notify Physician of changes in condition and other patient issues, as per policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our four outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.
