Job summary

Care Initiatives is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time day shifts across our Iowa facilities. You will provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment and support daily clinical operations on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and other team members to promote teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families about care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
• Current, valid CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
