Job summary

Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center in Kimberly, ID is hiring part-time nurses for weekend daytime shifts (4 AM–4 PM). We offer a competitive salary and a supportive team focused on geriatric long-term care.

RN license in good standing and strong communication are required as you collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams to provide compassionate care. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, administering treatments, monitoring residents, and maintaining accurate charting per care

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing is required.
• Ability to learn local, state, and federal long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ordering medications, equipment and supplies as prescribed.
• Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in resident's condition.
• Administering professional nursing practice services such as: tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
• Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents.
• Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other health care team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes.
• Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner.
• SNF nurses care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 care.
