Job summary

Delray Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Surgical Services RN for per diem shifts. You will collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the health team to determine patient needs preoperatively and deliver clinical nursing care.

Qualified candidates hold Florida RN license, BLS, and PALS; CVOR experience is preferred. BSN preferred. Flexible per diem schedules and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Education: Preferred: BSN
• Experience: CVOR experience preferred
• Certifications/ Licensure/ Registration: Current Florida RN license, AHA BLS Certification, PALS
• Other Qualifications: Preferred CNOR Certification

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and health team to assess patient needs preoperatively.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and document care.
• Deliver perioperative nursing services in CVOR setting

The Surgical Services RN works collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and other health team members to determine the patient's individual needs preoperatively and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of clinical nursing care and utilization of the nursing process.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN

Experience:

• CVOR experience preferred.

Required Certifications/ Licensure/ Registration:

• Current Florida RN license,
• AHA BLS Certification,
• PALS

Other Qualifications:

• Preferred: CNOR Certification
