Job summary

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, seeks a Registered Nurse for a per diem Days shift at our Delray Beach campus. The RN will provide high quality, safe, patient-centered care and coordinate the patient experience using the nursing process.

Florida-licensed RNs with 1 year acute care experience and BLS required; ACLS may be needed for telemetry units. BSN preferred. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Active Florida RN license; BLS certification required.
• ACLS and Basic EKG interpretation required for telemetry/high-acuity units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate the patient’s experience and integrate care using the nursing process.
• Deliver care according to safety, risk management, QA and infection control standards to support discharge at an optimum level.

Job Type: Per Diem - 3 shifts/week

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of current acute care experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
