Inova Health System’s CVICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA is seeking an experienced CVICU RN. The unit specializes in post-cardiac/vascular surgeries, advanced heart care, and transplant support.

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, orientation to D/N rotation, with sign-on and relocation bonuses for qualified candidates. The CVICU is a 24-bed high-acuity unit within the Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Institute.

Qualifications

• 1 year of critical care experience or completion of a CC fellowship.
• BSN from an accredited program; ADN requires BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS for healthcare provider; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for post-cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
• Monitor and respond to critical events in a 24-bed CVICU setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced CVICU RN at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift: Nights (3x 12-hour shifts 7p-7a). Must be able to orient D/N rotation.

The CVICU is a 24-bed, high-acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life-saving interventions. CVICU RN Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required. ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years CVICU RN experience.
• CCRN certification
• Proficient in Advanced Therapy Modalities (e.g., IABP, Impella, CRRT, TTM, ECMO)
