In this new 24-bed unit, you will have a maximum RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. The patients you will care for will range from moderate to high acuity cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients. You will be working closely with all multidisciplinary team members ranging from the physician and specialty consultants, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and pharmacists. You will play an essential role in integrating this multidisciplinary approach into your patient’s care plan.
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
ExperienceConsistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency requiredLicenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
ACLS - Adult Cardiac Life Support certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
