Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for day shifts. The RN will provide high-quality, safe nursing care and coordinate the patient care experience using the nursing process. You will attend meetings, follow policy standards, and adapt care for diverse age groups.

Requires Florida RN licensure and AHA BLS; ACLS and Basic EKG interpretation may be required for telemetry units. BSN is preferred and benefits include a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS and Basic EKG interpretation are required for Telemetry and higher acuity units.
• BSN preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Job description

Job Shift: Days Job Type: Full Time Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities. Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time. Assists all patient s, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Follows Infection Control procedures at all times. Adheres to the following environmental care standards. Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.

Education

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

Experience

• None Required

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
