Job summary

Advocate Health Care's Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Clinical Resource Unit internal float pool, covering observation, med/tele, critical care stepdown, and behavioral health units. You'll complete an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, and maintain BLS certification.

You will deliver coordinated, evidence-based care, communicate clearly, and help maintain a safe, healing environment for every patient.

Where You Will Work

Level 1 trauma center

Internal Float Pool that floats throughout Good Samaritan Hospital including:

• observation unit (4-5 ratio)
• 5 med/tele units (4-5 ratio)
• Critical care stepdown (3-4 ratio)
• Behavioral health unit

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
