UC Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for the ortho trauma department at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
This 28-bed unit cares for patients admitted from the ER, PACU, and SICU, focusing on recovery from traumatic injuries, mobility, patient education, monitoring intake and outputs, and pain management. The unit also treats ortho patients recovering from total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as spinal surgeries. UCMC is the region's only Adult Level 1 Trauma Center, handling severe injuries from various causes, including motor vehicle crashes, gunshot wounds, and accidents. We treat complex conditions like non-healing fractures, bone infections, and multiple fractures.
