UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room - Outpatient at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Job Details:

• Location: University of Cincinnati Medical Center - Outpatient
• Shift: First, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm with 4-hour call every other week
• Schedule: No weekends or holidays
• Surgeries include eyes, ENT, plastics, sports, ortho, hands, feet
• May be asked to assist at UCMC Operating Room across the street

Unit Details:

• Collaborative team environment
• Roles: circulating and scrub

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing nursing sciences
• Communicate care plans effectively
• Provide clear instructions to patients and families
• Respond to behavioral, psychological, and cultural needs
• Document nursing care accurately
• Mentor new staff and contribute to professional development

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Current Ohio RN license
• Minimum 1-year operating room experience
