Unit Details

• The Neuroscience ICU utilizes a teamwork model to provide high-acuity care.
• Named the Preferred Neuroscience institution in the area and a Level 4 Epilepsy Center.
• Provides opportunities to expand academic knowledge and participate in a teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills.
• Communicate care plans effectively to team members and patients/families.
• Provide clear instructions and involve families in care.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral and psychological needs.
• Document nursing care accurately and concisely.
• Act as a resource and mentor for staff.
• Maintain personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum Associate's Degree; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current Ohio RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
