Shift: Part time - 20 hours per week - weekday evenings from 4 PM to 9 PM, and daytime hours from 7 AM to 5 PM on weekends
Hybrid of days on weekends and evenings during the week.

Summary:
Registered nurses in this role function independently and as a team to receive incoming calls from the after-hours nurse advice lines, referring providers, internal providers, and staff. High customer service orientation with extensive knowledge of clinical systems and EMRs to support clinical integration. The clinical expertise of these nurses will allow for efficient assimilation of information to determine patient acuity, care path, and necessary communication between referring providers, ED Attending physicians, and clinical staff. The nurse will facilitate communication before, during, and after patient visits in the Emergency Department to maintain continuity of care. Communication regarding continuum of care is essential for quality patient outcomes and clinical integration. This nurse will be a point of contact for external providers, embodying high tech and high touch.
