This job is for a teacher/facilitator/consultant who collaborates with nursing and organizational management to implement educational goals for Ochsner Health System. Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating education and training activities aimed at improving patient care outcomes and organizational processes.
Education
Required - Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred - Master’s degree in Nursing
Work Experience
Required - 3 years of Nursing experience.
Experience working with interruptions and changing priorities.
Experience in stressful situations, maintaining professionalism and objectivity.
Certifications
Required - Current RN License in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Physical and Environmental Demands
The physical functions include exerting 10-20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Use of mechanical lifting devices is recommended. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, and work a flexible schedule. Sitting for prolonged periods is required. The role involves no exposure to blood or body fluids, and no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
