Position Overview

This role involves collaborating with nursing and management to implement educational goals within Ochsner Health System. Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating education and training activities aimed at improving patient care and organizational processes.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing

Work Experience

• Required: 3 years of nursing experience
• Experience with interruptions, changing priorities, and stressful situations while maintaining professionalism

Certifications

• Required: Current RN License in the practicing state
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and retrieval
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
