Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a compassionate RN to support the OR/CVOR Surgical Services as a Clinical Analyst I. This role focuses on EMR systems and data-related tasks to improve patient care in a busy operative environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in orientation and ongoing education, and contribute to evidence-based practices in a Magnet Journey setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate or licensed RN with current Arkansas or compact state license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and/or Information Sciences preferred.
• Experience in surgical environment and clinical systems implementations encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electronic medical/clinical systems for Surgical Services.
• Understand application functionality, reporting, and integration with clinical apps.

Surgery Department (OR/CVOR; Operating Room) Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Analyst I

We are looking for nurses with a passion for Surgical Nursing and Patient Advocacy. Our Baxter HealthOR/CVOR has 13 operating rooms and averages 650 cases per month. Our cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Urology and Gynecological (GYN) procedures. We have a highly skilled, dedicated team of patient advocates that work in an interdisciplinary team environment. New employees progress through an extensive orientation that uses the Association of Peri-operative Registered Nurses (AORN) Standards to guide our practice. All new nurses complete the AORN Peri-op 101 course, provided by the hospital, during the first six months of employment. One (1) year of AORN membership is also provided. All staff is encouraged to become active on our Unit Based Council to enable them to impact their own nursing practice and participate in our Magnet Journey to Excellence. Position Highlights:

• Education Opportunities: Continue to advance you and your families’ education, utilizing Baxter Health Foundation Scholarships and certification support.
• Technology: Davinci Surgical Robot; Navigational Spinal and ENT surgery; Hybrid OR for advanced vascular procedures, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and help to maintain the electronic medical system, software applications and databases for Surgical Services.
• Develop an understanding of the application functionality, reporting capabilities, and integration associated with clinical applications assigned.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and/or Information Sciences highly preferred.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) to five (5)years RN experience in a surgical environment. Previous EMR experience preferred. Previous experience in clinical systems implementation and support, including system configuration, custom development, maintenance and software updates required.
