Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. Eligible clinicians may participate in the Clinical Ladder with potential salary increases up to 20% based on experience and advancement.

Sign-on up to $12,500 and relocation assistance up to $3,000 available for eligible candidates; requires 1+ year in acute care, RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, Associate degree (BSN preferred).

Job Description:

Terms: 12-month Full‑time Employment Contract Required for Sign‑On and Relocation

Sign‑on Eligibility:

• One (1) year of applicable experience

• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility:

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address

• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.

• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS [Required]

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS [Required]
