Our state‑of‑the‑art Pediatric Operating Room (OR) is nestled within the heart of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, which proudly opened its doors in April 2023. Our Pediatric Perioperative Services Team has revolutionized pediatric care in the Richmond Region, offering comprehensive services around the clock.
Equipped with six meticulously designed Operating Rooms and two dedicated Procedure Rooms, our facility ensures that pediatric patients receive the highest standard of care in a caring, child‑friendly environment.
With around‑the‑clock care, we handle a daily caseload ranging from 12 to 24 cases, catering to a diverse array of specialties including Otolaryngology (ENT), Genitourinary (GU), Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Cardiac, and Trauma procedures.
We prioritize excellence in care, drawing on a team of highly skilled professionals committed to the well‑being and comfort of every patient. While experience within a Level 1 Pediatric OR is highly valued, we also welcome Operating Room Nurses with a minimum of 1 year of OR experience who possess a passion for pediatric care and a dedication to excellence.
