Job summary

Hartford Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Institute of Living team. You will provide holistic nursing care, perform assessments, develop care plans, manage medications, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• CT RN license required.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and participate in treatment planning and care coordination.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses and document care.
• Provide patient education and collaborate with multidisciplinary team in trauma-informed care.

Job Summary

We provide holistic, quality trauma informed care for our specialized patient population. Nursing duties include assessment, treatment planning, medication management and patient education, while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - new grads welcome!
• Successful completion of nurse residency upon hire, if applicable.
• CT RN license required upon starting
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.
