Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Institute of Living in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Child Inpatient unit on a part-time night shift. The role provides holistic, trauma-informed care to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs in a collaborative environment.

The nurse will conduct assessments, plan treatment, manage medications, and educate patients and families. New grads are welcome after completing nurse residency; CT RN license and BLS are required on start.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - new grads welcome!

Experience:

• Successful completion of nurse residency upon hire, if applicable.

Licenses & Certifications:

• CT RN license required upon starting.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.
