Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama LLC in Northport, AL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our evening nursing team as Charge Nurse on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). This Full-Time role offers leadership responsibility in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include supervising the nursing team, assessing resident conditions, administering medications, developing care plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the nursing team during the evening shift.
• Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and provide sound clinical leadership.
• Ensure accurate electronic nursing documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
